Helmut Kettenmann is a well-known German neuroscientist. An academician of the German Academy of Sciences, he is recognized as a leader in the field of glial biology. He currently serves as the head of the Bio-X International Institute, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. Intl. Gen Zers bring Yingge Dance to life

Guangdong goods, global reach
The “Guangdong Goods, Global Reach” year-long campaign, which aims to boost global sales of Guangdong-based brands and Guangdong-made products, was launched on Jan. 15 in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The campaign brings together more than 6,000 enterprises across sectors including home appliances, mobile phones, apparel, food, smart appliances, automobiles, cosmetics, culture and tourism, and agriculture. The awards ceremony of the 2025 China Wildlife Image and Video Competition was held Jan. 12 at the Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum. A total of 24 annual awards were announced, honoring 122 outstanding works selected from 39,366 submissions spanning 83 countries and regions worldwide.
