The theme song for the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the ninth National Special Olympic Games was released Nov. 24.

The Shenzhen Integrated Ground-Air Intelligent Connected Test Base recently launched low-altitude operations at the Bay Area Intelligent Connected Test Field in Pingshan District.

To welcome the 15th National Games, which will be held in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from Nov. 9 to 21, Pingshan Subdistrict International Block in Pingshan District hosted a basketball game Oct. 25.

Two factories in Pingshan have been recognized as 5G factories by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, according to a list released by the ministry. The list includes 560 projects across 48 sectors, including manufacturing, mining, energy, and lighting.

​Pingshan District has established six government service stations at major industrial parks to provide one-stop services, further improving the local business environment.

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (Oct. 1-8), visit “Pingshan Station” — located at the underground City Hub shopping plaza near Gangxia North Metro Station in central Futian District — to enjoy a variety of “FUN” activities and win gifts.

To prepare for the 15th National Games, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Test Competition was held in early August at the Pingshan Sports Center Gymnasium in Pingshan District.

The highly anticipated ceremonial torch, medals, and other key elements of the 15th National Games were recently unveiled. The flame cauldron was designed by a team led by Li Liquan, vice dean of the School of Design and Innovation at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) in Pingshan District.
