Czechia reaches BJK Cup semifinals

The Billie Jean King Cup 2026 Finals Shenzhen is underway at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in Nanshan District from Sept. 22 to 27. Eight national teams — Italy, the U.K., Spain, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belgium and host China — are competing for the top honor in women’s team tennis. In the opening match on Sept. 22, the Czech team, considered one of the title contenders, faced the seasoned British side and secured a 2-0 victory to advance to the next round.
