On July 30, the 2026 Asia-Pacific Digital & Intelligent Economy Sustainable Development Innovation Week kicked off in Longhua, Shenzhen. Nearly 200 Chinese and foreign guests from around 30 countries and regions gathered to discuss new opportunities for Asia-Pacific digital and intelligent cooperation. During the event, Shenzhen Daily interviewed James Ong, founder of the Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII), a member of the Scientific Research Advisory Board of Singapore National Supercomputing Center, and a founding member of the UN Internet Governance Forum, Singapore.
