​Kuichong Library has a special reading room called "Ocean Children-friendly Library” which covers an area of 150 sqm. The reading room features eight functional sections, namely, section for books, reading area, children's paintings exhibition area, event photos wall, display area of marine creatures, puzzle games area, duty wall and small stage.

Dapeng Library, an A-level library in Shenzhen, is on the 4th floor of the Culture and Sports Center of the Dapeng Subdistrict Office, covering a construction area of 1,000 sqm. Dapeng Library has areas for different functions including a Library Reading Room, an E-reading Room, a Children’s Reading Room and a Room for the Classics.

Shenzhen Science & Technology Library (University Town Library of Shenzhen) is the first domestic research library that has the dual functions of a university library and a public library.
