The 34th China (Shenzhen) International Gifts and Home Products Fair, organized by RX Huabo Exhibitions, kicked off Tuesday at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao'an District and runs through tomorrow. The fair brings together 4,500 exhibitors showcasing over 1 million creative gifts and home products, with more than 300,000 buyers from around the world expected to attend.

This year's edition features an expanded lineup of brands, suppliers and new products reflecting emerging consumer trends, with more than 1,000 first-time exhibitors and 10 new themed zones.

Leading brands and emerging consumer trends

A mix of established and emerging brands has gathered on the show floor. Industry leaders such as Supor and Midea are joined by brands popular among younger consumers, including Peet's Coffee, DJI, Bebird and Cleer, underscoring the gift market's widening appeal. Smart products such as UBTECH's AI education robot Wukong and Talking Tom's AI companion robot are also drawing attention as popular picks in the children's gift market.

Visitors explore tea and other specialty products at a pavilion showcasing goods from Yunnan Province during the fair.

Regional industrial clusters are a major draw. The Fujian delegation brings together nearly 100 quality supply chain companies spanning Dehua ceramics, Quanzhou food and Fuzhou cultural and creative crafts. Yunnan tea companies are attending as a group for the first time, bringing Pu'er and Dianhong tea products to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Reflecting new consumer trends, health-related gifts are gaining traction, with products ranging from condiment and food manufacturer Haitian's probiotic soy milk to massagers, neck pillows and heated eye patches from personal care device maker Breo.

Among the exhibitors, health technology company zdeer is showcasing a diverse range of products, spanning moxibustion-based warming treatments, heat-therapy massage, oral care, and hearing and sleep health solutions.

"The theme of our exhibition space draws on the traditional Chinese concept of roaming observation," said Wang Lijun, zdeer's head. "We hope visitors can experience zdeer's products in a more relaxed and intuitive way, and feel firsthand the real difference health technology brings to everyday life."

AI-powered smart gifts from brands including DX Intech Technology and Unitree are also finding new applications in children's gifts and technology-focused corporate gifting.

The fair also features a series of new product launches and themed activities, including the "Lucky sheep new product launch season," tied to the Chinese zodiac, the "Fragrance Blind Box Adventure Party" and the "2026 Robot Rising Stars" zone.

Seven concurrent exhibitions offer one-stop sourcing

Visitors browse gift and packaging products at the fair, which runs through Friday at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center.

The fair is drawing a broad cross-section of the global gift trade, from gift service providers to corporate procurement teams, supermarket chains, cross-border e-commerce platforms and overseas buyers. The number of preregistered professional buyers has increased year over year, with the share of overseas attendees rising sharply and notable growth in buyers from cross-border and livestream e-commerce channels.

Organizers have also introduced a "seven-exhibition" format. Alongside the core gift and home products fair, the event hosts the 18th Shenzhen International Consumer Electronics Expo, the 13th Shenzhen Gift Packaging & Printing Exhibition, the Go Global Expo, the IP Connect Fair, the Shenzhen Special Channel Pet Products Expo and the Shenzhen International Silver Economy Expo.

Together, the seven shows cover the industrial value chain — from product design and manufacturing to brand promotion, distribution and overseas expansion, allowing buyers to source products across multiple categories and connect with suppliers in a single visit.
