Super matcha festival opens today

Matcha lovers, here's some exciting news! A super matcha festival will kick off today beneath the Shenzhen Galaxy Twin Towers in Longgang, bringing together leading matcha brands from more than 25 cities across China.

Of the 90-plus participating brands, 90% are from outside Shenzhen, and 70% are making their Shenzhen debut. The lineup includes several crowd-pullers known for drawing long queues at different food festivals.

From bread, cakes, tarts and macarons to chocolate, ice cream, yogurt and creative matcha drinks, there's something to satisfy every matcha craving.

The event is held under the guidance of the Longgang district commerce bureau and the Shenzhen Retail Business Association.
