A scenic route from start to finish
The Dasha River Ecological Corridor is approximately 13.7 kilometers long. Lined with lush greenery and frequented by elegant egrets playing on the water’s surface, cycling along this path is a feast for the senses. It’s an ideal place to enjoy the scenery — and snap a few photos along the way.
Your journey begins in the middle section of the river, where you can cycle past picturesque spots such as Xili Reservoir and Jiuxiangling Wetland Park.
Located near Zhuguang Metro Station, a suspended plank road winds its way through the forest. From a distance, it looks like a fairytale roller coaster nestled in emerald greenery. This short section takes only about 10 minutes to walk from end to end. Strolling here feels like walking among the treetops — while a gentle breeze brushes your face, your worries seem to melt away, leaving you light and carefree.
Not far from the sky-high plank road sits a tranquil architectural gem: the Ring Tree House bookstore, shaped like a seashell. Its smooth, curved design blends harmoniously with the surrounding greenery, making it look like a piece of art quietly nestled in the woods.

Inside, a tree grows at the center, with reading steps spiraling gently around it. Surrounded by the verdant views of Dasha River Park, the space offers a serene atmosphere. When you step onto the rooftop terrace, a panoramic view of the riverside park unfolds before your eyes — inviting you to pause and soak it all in.
The corridor is known for its peaceful environment, lush vegetation, and smooth asphalt roads, attracting numerous runners and cyclists. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. When you get tired, simply find a spot under the shade of a tree to sit and rest. Sometimes, sitting in the sun and doing nothing at all is the most comfortable and delightful pleasure.
