During the upcoming holiday, the light show is scheduled to run from Oct. 1 to 7, with three shows each evening at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The content will be the same for all three shows each night.

Visitors who wish to watch the light show from designated viewing areas, including the stairs between the second- and third-floor platforms of Civic Center Square, the stairs between the ground- and second-floor platforms of Civic Center Square, and the east and west sides of Civic Center Square, will need to make a reservation through the "福田中心区夜景灯光预约导引服务" WeChat miniprogram. Reservations open at 10 a.m. three days before each show.

Visitors are encouraged to travel light and avoid bringing large pieces of luggage. The designated viewing areas do not allow photography tripods, large selfie sticks, drones or other camera equipment, or sports equipment such as skateboards and roller skates. Flammable or explosive items are also prohibited, as are electric vehicles, bicycles, strollers and pets.

With parking spaces in short supply around the viewing areas, traffic police will strictly deal with illegally parked vehicles and may impose temporary traffic controls on nearby roads. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.

If crowds exceed the area's capacity or the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory issues a weather warning, the show schedule may be adjusted or canceled depending on conditions. Visitors are advised to check for the latest updates before setting out.
