Visitors wandered merrily through the bustling venue of the 2026 “Explore the World Together” Mid-Autumn Garden Party, many clad in elegant Hanfu. They paused beneath luminous festival lanterns to capture joyful holiday snapshots as they moved between different activity zones.

In the outdoor garden area, laughter filled the air as guests solved tricky lantern riddles, tried their luck at ring-toss games, and took part in the light-hearted “Jade Hare Pulling the Radish” challenge. Inside the handicraft zone, participants crafted charming jade-hare sachets, fragrant sand-painting candles, and handheld lanterns decorated with osmanthus blossoms. Each completed activity earned a distinctive stamp on their antique-style adventure passports. After gathering a sufficient number of stamps, lucky visitors could redeem them for surprise mystery gift boxes.

International students from Shenzhen University shared the stage with young local poetry enthusiasts, delivering heartfelt bilingual recitations. Renowned ancient Chinese verses about the moon reverberated through the venue. Though recited in different languages, these lines conveyed the same tender emotions concerning happiness, separation, and the radiant full moon.

Local and international participants then sat side-by-side at the mooncake DIY workshop. They gently kneaded supple dough, added sweet fillings, and pressed intricately patterned moulds. Delicate, translucent snow-skin mooncakes gradually took shape in hands of people with diverse skin tones.
