Guangdong Intercity to add 274 train trips for Mid-Autumn and National Day Holidays

On the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, as well as during the holiday period, Guangdong Intercity will add 274 train trips on peak passenger flow sections across its six intercity railways.

Specifically, on Sept. 24, 27, and Oct. 7, an additional 23 trips will be added each day; on Sept. 25, 26, and Oct. 2 to 6, an additional 18 trips will be added each day; 31 additional trips will be added on Sept. 30; and 48 additional trips will be added on Oct. 1. 

Passengers can check train schedules in advance through the "Intercity Travel Assistant" on the Guangzhou Metro App, the "Intercity Travel Assistant" and "Operation Timetable" sections of the Guangdong Intercity official WeChat account, or via Railway 12306 and other channels.

From 2 p.m. on Sept. 21 to 28, the ticket pre-sale period will be adjusted to 10 days (excluding the day of travel). That is, tickets for Oct. 1 can be purchased from 2 p.m. on Sept. 21, and tickets for Oct. 8 can be purchased on Sept. 28.

From 2 p.m. on October 6, the pre-sale period will resume to 3 days (excluding the day of travel). That is, tickets for Oct. 9 can be purchased from 2 p.m. on Oct. 6.

On Sept. 25, 28, and Oct. 1, 7, and 8, Train C4731 on the Guanghui Intercity Railway heading towards Huizhou North will be adjusted to originate from Intercity Panyu Station, and the operating hours at Intercity Panyu Station will be advanced to 5:30 a.m.
