New seaside playground opens in Shekou

Looking for a quick getaway in Shenzhen? Head to the newly opened KP-FUN — a 20,000-square-meter indoor playground at K11 ECOAST in Shekou. This sci-fi-inspired entertainment space offers everything from a giant modular slide park and indoor karting to laser tag, VR racing, rock climbing, and more. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or flying solo, a full day here is the ultimate stress reliever.

KP-FUN spans six zones, housing large-scale attractions for group fun alongside smaller games for solo visitors. Visitors can choose from a full-day ticket with unlimited re-entry, or opt for three-hour and night tickets.

The centerpiece is the Matrix Slide — south China’s first mega modular slide park, featuring seven themed slides with varying angles and speeds for an adrenaline rush like no other.

Indoor karting is another crowd favorite, with a street-style track offering continuous bends for both beginners and seasoned racers.

Laser tag brings the online battle royale to life with a spacious arena and plenty of cover for chasing, hiding, and tactical maneuvering.

The six-axis racing simulator is also a highlight. With three surround screens and dynamic motion feedback, it delivers the thrill of real racing — from G-forces on sharp turns to sudden acceleration.

A ball-racing game lets players pick a numbered ball and watch as 13 balls race down a custom track, with winners taking home an exclusive pink plush toy.

The VR experience zone offers immersive adventure games with specialized headsets and controllers.

After 4:30 p.m., the Sunset Carousel offers a romantic spin as the sun dips over the horizon.

Other attractions include bowling, football, tennis, baseball, shooting simulators, flight and driving simulators, VR motorcycle racing, PS5 and esports zones, and more.

KP-FUN also has a location at C Future City in Futian, a cyberpunk-style entertainment zone featuring a distinct lineup of attractions, including glow-in-the-dark laser tag, mixed-reality karting, 360° VR experiences, slime-making, and perler bead crafts.
