Longhua, Dubai explore new opportunities for industrial cooperation

The Shenzhen Longhua-Dubai Economic and Trade Industry Cooperation and Exchange was held Aug. 31 at the Shenzhen Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC).

The event brought together about 50 representatives from Shenzhen-based companies, foreign entrepreneurs in Shenzhen, and industry experts familiar with Dubai’s investment landscape, policies and market conditions. It provided an in-person platform for sharing industry information and connecting resources between Longhua and Dubai.

8月31日，“深圳龙华—迪拜经贸产业对接交流会”在深圳（龙华）国际合作中心举行。活动汇聚约50名深圳本地企业代表、在深外籍创业者，以及深耕迪拜投资领域、熟悉当地政策与市场环境的行业专家，现场共话合作、共谋发展，搭建起两地产业信息互通、资源精准对接的线下交流平台。

Investment opportunities highlighted 双向推介展现合作图景

Representatives from LICC and the Dubai International Chamber delivered presentations on Longhua’s industrial support policies, key sectors and business services, as well as Dubai’s market access requirements, tax incentives and advantages as a hub for cross-border trade. The presentations highlighted opportunities in both markets and offered guidance on how companies can establish operations in each location.

区域推介环节，深圳（龙华）国际合作中心与迪拜商会驻华代表先后登台，分别围绕龙华区产业扶持政策、重点产业布局、营商服务配套，以及迪拜投资准入规则、税收优惠体系、跨境商贸通道优势等核心内容作专项推介，为在场企业清晰呈现两地的投资合作价值与落地路径。

“Dubai, as an economic powerhouse in the Middle East and a global trade hub, excels in automotive components, electronics manufacturing, and logistics. It also offers an open business environment,” said a representative of LICC.

As the largest district-level comprehensive platform for international exchange and cooperation in China, LICC follows the principles of openness, inclusiveness, and mutual benefit. It has expanded its international economic and trade network to help Longhua enterprises pursue cooperation opportunities around the world.

“We hope today’s exchanges will open new doors for cooperation and build lasting partnerships between Longhua and Dubai,” the representative added.

She also introduced the chamber’s free, comprehensive support, including policy interpretation, operational setup guidance and resource matchmaking. These services can help Longhua companies localize their overseas operations while reducing the costs and risks of entering the Dubai markets.

Presentations showcase cooperation potentials 项目路演对接潜力赛道

During the project presentations, representatives from five companies based in Dubai and Longhua — including Middle Eastern e-commerce platform noon, Shenzhen BetterPower Battery Co. Ltd., TXTK Tax Tech Shenzhen, Huatuo Idea Communications Group and SOFOS Group — introduced projects in several promising areas, including cross-border trade, advanced manufacturing, corporate financial and tax services, brand creativity and energy investment.

路演环节，中东本土电商平台noon、深圳市倍特力电池有限公司、TXTK科灵国际、华佗创意集团、守富集团等5家分别来自迪拜与龙华的企业代表依次登台，围绕跨境商贸、先进制造、企业财税、品牌创意、能源投资等多个合作潜力赛道进行项目分享，现场交流气氛热烈。

After the formal agenda, participants held in-depth discussions on project implementation, resource complementarity and the joint development of business channels, exploring opportunities for substantive industrial cooperation between Longhua and Dubai.

正式议程结束后，参会各方随即开启自由对接，围绕项目落地、资源互补、渠道共建等方向展开深度洽谈，共同探索两地产业实质性合作的广阔空间。

The event created a direct exchange platform for businesses and other industry stakeholders from the two regions, further facilitating the two-way flow of economic and trade information. It also laid a practical foundation for future cross-border projects and the international expansion of participating companies.

本次活动为龙华与迪拜产业主体搭建起直接对话的桥梁，进一步畅通两地经贸信息双向流通渠道，为后续跨境项目落地、企业出海布局积累了务实基础。

In recent years, Longhua has actively integrated itself into the China-Middle East economic and trade cooperation network, helping local companies expand overseas, connect with global partners and strengthen their international operations.

Going forward, Longhua will deepen practical cooperation with Dubai in areas including new energy, cross-border e-commerce, high-tech industries, cross-border finance, global logistics and brand creativity. The district will also improve channels for two-way investment, supply-chain coordination and resource sharing, strengthen its connections with global resources, and accelerate its development into a high-level gateway for opening up. 

These efforts will contribute to Shenzhen’s goal of becoming a globally leading center for advanced manufacturing and an international consumption center.
