APEC training session held for Luohu volunteers

Officers from Wenjindu border inspection authority introduced the basic information of APEC meetings, the composition of its 21 economies and its operational mechanisms, as well as the core agenda of the Shenzhen APEC meeting in November to Luohu volunteers at Luohu District Party-Mass Service Center on Aug. 15. 

Focusing on cross-cultural scenarios that volunteers may encounter in foreign-related services, the lecture highlighted the fundamental principles of international communication, along with the cultural taboos, social etiquette, and customs of the 21 economies. The officers also provided one-on-one answers to the volunteers' questions. The professional and meticulous lecture, lasting an hour and a half, was highly praised by the Luohu District Tourism Association.
