Shenzhen Happy Valley has introduced a series of new rides, themed areas and performances as part of an effort to improve the park’s layout, visitor routes and overall experience.
Three popular attractions — Warrior’s Hammer, Flume Ride and Space Shot — have been upgraded and reopened. New attractions, including the Phantom Moto roller coaster, the high-altitude Sunset Flyer and a thrilling drop tower, are also now in operation.

Every afternoon and evening, a float parade begins at Happy Plaza and travels to the Main Stage through the center of the park. The parade features elaborate floats and performers in themed groups. Dressed in colorful costumes, the performers dance to upbeat music, wave to visitors and interact with them along the route.

The park has also expanded and upgraded its dining, shopping and visitor services. Affordable options include bottled water for 3 yuan (US$0.44) and grilled sausages for 6 yuan. Popular food and beverage brands, including Da Fu Lan, Le Caesar and Yeah Gelato, have also been introduced, giving visitors more choices inside the park.

During the summer, high-powered fans have been installed in queueing areas, while additional shade structures have been added along the main route and in rest areas. The park also offers complimentary return visits within 14 days when rides and other facilities are suspended for more than two hours because of rain.
The upgrades are part of Shenzhen Happy Valley’s effort to make visits more comfortable and encourage guests to return, turning a one-time outing into a longer-term connection with the park.
