In Green Lodges & Resorts

Nestled in the Honghualing area of Maluan Mountain in Pingshan District, In Green Lodges & Resorts is built around a century-old Hakka village. Restored according to the principle of “repairing what can be preserved,” the project retains the original character of the village’s houses, trees and pathways.

The resort brings together guesthouses, dining, art spaces, and cultural and creative experiences in one destination, catering to visitors seeking both adventure and tranquility. After a day of hiking, exploring streams and viewing waterfalls in Maluan Mountain Country Park, guests can return to the historic dwellings and experience the harmony between the landscape and local heritage.

The project uses traditional materials and craftsmanship while avoiding large-scale demolition and reconstruction. It serves as a living example of the philosophy that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” and offers a replicable model for rural revitalization.
