Parking lot awarded star title for smart service

The parking lot of Huilong Tower in the area around North Railway Station in Longhua District was recently awarded the title of "Star Parking Lot" by “深i停” parking sharing platform for its effort to tap into unused parking spaces and its innovative public-benefit service model.

The Huilong Tower is located adjacent to the Shenzhen North Railway Station. It is an mixed-use complex comprising office buildings, apartments, and commercial spaces. 

It provides 1,050 parking spaces of three levels underground. To meet the travel and commuting demand of Shenzhen North Railway Station and Shenzhen North Metro Station, characterized by "high-frequency commuting and low-frequency long-duration parking," Shenzhen Metro Group Urban Services Co., Ltd launched parking efficiency improvement initiative at Huilong Tower in 2024 to unlock the potential of parking spaces and complete the last 100-meter seamless travel experience of rail riders.

The parking lot introduced flexible packages such as passes for high-speed rail commuters and passes for staggered parking of overnight vehicles at local community.

In addition, the company entrusted 200 spaces on the B3 level to Shenzhen Jieshun Science and Technology Industry Co., Ltd to sell monthly parking passes through its "JParking" platform. 

Since the launch of the monthly passes in May, all 200 passes were sold out.

The North Railway Station area, known for parking difficulty, for crowds of business commuters and high-speed rail travelers, who needs low-frequency, long-duration parking. Traditional monthly passes that charge high prices and expensive hourly rates baffled the commuters and travelers. The flexible and reasonable price rates of monthly passes are expected to addressed the parking pain points of local residents and commuters.
