Futian unveils digital summer tourism map

Futian District, in partnership with Amap, has launched the summer edition of the Futian Digital Tourism Map to help residents and tourists discover local delicacies and exciting summer activities with ease.

This summer edition, under the theme “Joyful Summer, Exciting Futian,” features six carefully curated themed routes designed around diverse entertainment scenarios, and each route supports one-click navigation and voice guides.

The first option connects the Esports Guangdong Super League City Tour at Huaqiangbei Maoye Department Store with the “Peacekeeper Elite 2026 Exciting Night” event, showcasing a fusion of sports, technology, and trend culture. For culture lovers, the International Art & Culture route features the Snowland Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition and the UpperHills Coffee & Beer Festival. 

Families can opt for the Parent-Child Study & Exploration route, which includes the Picture Book Museum Summer Exploration Camp and Miffy-themed pop-up stores. Meanwhile, the Traditional Chinese Style route integrates the Antuoshan Summer Music & Drama Season with the Bay Area of the Era Art Exhibition. 

For those seeking active recreation, the Vibrant Sports route covers Bijashan Park and the Summer Vitality Season at the Shenzhen Sports Center. Finally, the ACG (Anime, Comic, and Games) Party route highlights BitCity ACG Town, the 15th Shenzhen Games and Anime Festival, and a Minions pop-up store.

Upon opening the digital tourism map, users can explore the iconic “Ten Scenic Spots of Futian” guided by an AI assistant that offers real-time navigation. For dining and shopping, the map features six curated lists: Popular Delicacies, Themed Restaurants, Ultimate Selections, Hot Spots, Shopping Guides, and Hidden Historical Sites.

To ensure a hassle-free trip, the “Enjoy Futian Travel Assistant” helps visitors locate nearby hotels, gas stations, charging stations, and parking lots. Before heading home, travelers can also use the interactive “Light Up My Footsteps in Futian” feature to log their favorite travel memories.

The district tourism bureau has partnered with Amap’s car-hailing service to distribute taxi voucher packages worth a total of 2 million yuan. Residents and tourists can access the main page by searching for “Futian Digital Tourism Map” in the Amap app and clicking the “Travel Benefits: Get Ride-Hailing Subsidies” button at the bottom of the screen to claim a voucher package worth up to 100 yuan.
