UNFOLD Shenzhen 2026 Art Book Fair to open

From Aug. 6 to 9, the UNFOLD Shenzhen 2026 Art Book Fair will take over the Coastal Gallery at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center (SWCAC), bringing together 160 exhibitors from China and abroad, alongside a rich program of themed exhibitions, talks and workshops.

Now in its third year in Shenzhen, this year's event is inspired by the idea of "a testing ground." Its visual identity features four interconnected plots of land — both defining boundaries and creating connections, establishing structure while leaving room for growth. The concept reflects the way art, design, books and cultural commerce intersect, evolve and flourish within the city.

This August, UNFOLD invites you to step into a creative testing ground where unexpected encounters await. A book, a studio, an experimental work — or simply an idea that stays with you long after you leave.

Note: The SWCAC has introduced an all-access exhibition pass. In addition to admission to the UNFOLD Shenzhen 2026 Art Book Fair, the ticket also grants access to all five exhibition galleries and seven art galleries within the venue, along with discounts on theater performances, dining and the SWCAC art shop.
