The published second-class fare is 87 yuan (US$12.88), while discounted fares currently available through Railway 12306 range from 74 to 78 yuan, depending on the service. Passengers are advised to check the platform for the fare applicable to their train.

All seven stations on the newly opened section are in Guangzhou. Zhongluotandong Station is in Baiyun District; Jiufo, Folang, Xinlong and Zhenlong stations are in Huangpu District; and Yongningbei and Yongningnan stations are in Zengcheng District.

Tickets can be purchased through Railway 12306, station vending machines and staffed ticket counters. Passengers may also use the Guangdong intercity network’s multi-payment ticketing system.

Shenzhen and Guangzhou airports will soon be directly linked by rail for the first time with the upcoming opening of a new intercity rail segment.
