Shenzhen CM Lippo Prince Bay Hospital

A collaboration between China Merchants Group and Indonesia's Lippo Group, Shenzhen CM Lippo Prince Bay Hospital covers a total construction area of approximately 42,000 square meters, with more than 230 planned beds, and is classified as Grade B comprehensive hospital.

The hospital aims to serve residents from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and international patients with high-standard precision medical care.

Mr. Yet Kum Meng, CEO and Executive Director of OUE Healthcare Limited, said, “The hospital will work close with the group’s Asian medical network, while extending its reach to Southeast Asia. It aims to provide local residents and cross-border populations with medical services aligned with international standards.”

The hospital features three core centers — International Medical, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Health Management — and six key specialties: Pain Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, Gynecology, TCM, Gastroenterology, and Respiratory Medicine. Academic partnerships have been established with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, and Guangzhou First People's Hospital.

The hospital has assembled leading experts across its six core specialties and works with multiple medical groups to bring in top domestic specialists — especially in minimally invasive surgery — as well as experts from Hong Kong and Singapore. The group's network of about 80 to 90 specialists in Singapore will be integrated through personnel exchanges and teleconsultation.

A dual payment system has been implemented to accommodate diverse patient needs. The hospital is fully integrated into China’s medical insurance system, and has also established direct billing partnerships with major commercial insurance providers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, including AIA Hong Kong (U CARE), Parkway, and Cigna & CMB. Patients no longer need to pay out of pocket and claim reimbursement later — it's all handled directly.

Multilingual services and dedicated reception areas for Hong Kong and Macao residents are available, and the facility is equipped with international-brand medical devices from Siemens, Philips, GE, and Olympus.

With nearly 40 years of healthcare experience across Asia, Lippo Group operates approximately 300 medical institutions with over 9,000 beds and 18,000 medical staff, and multiple facilities accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI). The hospital aims to use Shenzhen as a catalyst for two-way cross-border medical exchange between China and Southeast Asia.
