Major Heat, or Dashu, is the 12th of China's 24 solar terms. It falls on July 23 this year. You are welcome to join this event to taste traditional summer cold dishes, learn about the solar term, and test your knowledge in a fun quiz.

AED & CPR Training 

Ever panicked seeing someone suddenly collapse or suffer cardiac arrest without knowing how to offer proper help? The Qianhai International Medical Service Center will be hosting an English AED & CPR life-saving training session specially tailored for expat residents. No prior medical background required.

Peruvian Cooking Class

July 28th marks Peru's 205th anniversary. Amy & Jean Spanish Club will celebrate it with a culinary tasting of Peruvian food, one of the most famous cuisines in the world, and traditional Pisco this Sunday. This event is sponsored by the Consulate of Peru in Guanghou.

Stand-Up Comedy

A regular performer at the legendary Comedy Cellar in New York, Peng Dang has been a finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas competition and a member of the Stars of Tomorrow showcases. He has shared the stage with acclaimed comedians including Nigel Ng (Uncle Roger), Cristela Alonzo, and Leanne Morgan.
