On July 15, the Guiyang Bureau of Culture and Tourism joined hands with local Guizhou tea brand Quchashan to launch a limited-edition summer drink for 2026: Guiyang Mountain Breeze Green Lime Locust Blossom Honey Green Tea — a cup designed to bring Guiyang’s refreshing 22.3°C summer right into the hands of Shenzhen consumers.
The launch event was held at Quchashan’s Shenzhen MixC World store, marking the brand’s second collaboration in Shenzhen, following the 2025 spring release of the Qingyan Rose Matcha Fresh Milk Tea. This new drink blends Guizhou green tea, freshly squeezed green lime, locust blossom honey, guava and cheese into a layered flavor profile that aims to deliver a sense of emotional cooling from the first sip.

The drink is built around a multi-stage taste experience. The first layer is “the impact of the wind”: Guizhou green tea provides the base, while the tart brightness of fresh lime bursts through like a sudden breeze rushing into an office tower. The second layer is “the aftertaste of the mountains”: the smooth sweetness of locust blossom honey softens the lime’s sharp edge, guava adds a tropical fruit aroma, and the rich finish of cheese lingers like a brief pause in the shade of Qianlingshan Mountain in Guiyang.
Quchashan founder Liu Shengjian said the brand has always aimed to serve as a “translator of local culture and unique regional flavors,” turning regional landscapes and specialties into a taste language that office workers in the city can instantly understand.

At Quchashan’s Shenzhen MixC World store, wooden tables and chairs were paired with greenery, and a display board featuring a mountain-breeze window card stood by the window. Guiyang travel guide brochures were also available on the reading rack. Customers who placed an order received a transparent scenic card featuring Guizhou landscapes, allowing them to experience a touch of Guizhou’s natural poetry while staying in Shenzhen.
According to the brand, since expanding beyond Guizhou in 2023, Quchashan has opened more than 70 stores in 14 cities across China, serving around 20,000 customers a day. More than 80% of those customers are between 25 and 35 years old.
