Designed as a multi-purpose sports and community hub, the complex will feature a swimming center, training facilities, basketball courts and other indoor sports venues in its southern section. A central multi-functional arena will be capable of hosting sporting events, performances, public gatherings and community activities.

The northern section will include a bus terminal on the ground floor to improve local public transport connections, while the upper floors will house a community service center offering government and neighborhood services. A two-level underground parking garage will provide additional parking capacity for the surrounding area.

Once completed, the Guanlan Sports Center is expected to become a major public sports landmark in Shenzhen, expanding access to high-quality fitness and recreational facilities while supporting the city's efforts to promote healthier lifestyles and broader public participation in sports.
