Langham Hospitality Group has officially launched the second season of its acclaimed "Yue Jian" dining series, making its annual debut at T'ang Court, The Langham, Shenzhen. Rooted in the rich Cantonese culinary heritage of the group's award-winning Chinese restaurants, the series was created to expand the aesthetic and flavor boundaries of Cantonese cuisine through cross-cultural dialogue and regional ingredient exploration.

After a successful first season that traveled to Shanghai, Hefei, and Beijing, the series returns with growing industry recognition and diner acclaim. For the Shenzhen opener, "Yue Jian" introduces a groundbreaking "three-region, three-cuisine, six-hand collaboration" format, featuring three distinguished culinary partners: Chang Longshan from Zhiguan Courtyard, China's only Michelin-starred northeastern Chinese restaurant; Zhang Qiang from Xu's Cuisine, a perennial Michelin and Black Pearl award-winning Sichuan restaurant; and host chef Pan Yaotang of T'ang Court.

The three chefs spent over a month in deep collaboration — from ingredient sourcing and flavor deconstruction to technique integration and menu planning — resulting in each dish representing a truly co-created effort that transcends the boundaries of any single culinary tradition.

The set menu highlights seasonal Lingnan ingredients, with each primary component prepared in three distinct culinary styles. The clean, delicate notes of Cantonese cuisine, the hearty richness of northeastern cooking, and the complex, layered profiles of Sichuan fare are woven together through the lens of Lingnan's seasonal produce, delivering a sophisticated, multi-dimensional narrative on the plate.

As the opening chapter of "Yue Jian" Season Two, the Shenzhen stop is more than a Michelin-starred dining event — it signals a deep exploration into the contemporary and diversified future of Chinese cuisine. This innovative cross-regional collaboration brings fresh inspiration to the Greater Bay Area's high-end dining scene and opens new avenues for the evolution of Cantonese cuisine.

The exclusive "Yue Jian" dining experience in Shenzhen is now open for reservations at The Langham, Shenzhen.
