The Shenzhen Fisheries Expo 2026 officially kicked off yesterday morning at Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian. Running through July 4, the event spans 25,000 square meters and features premium fishery products from over 10 local government delegations and more than 15 countries and regions.

This year’s expo is centered on four core sectors: deep-sea fishing products and equipment, aquaculture and seed breeding, fishery science and technology, and marine ranching. The exhibition covers the entire industrial chain, showcasing everything from high-tech fishing gear and aquatic seed “chips” to smart aquaculture systems, leisure fishery tourism, and gourmet processed seafood.

The event has drawn an impressive international presence, including exhibitors from New Zealand, Ecuador, Spain, and Morocco. Domestically, provincial and municipal delegations from Jilin, Heyuan, Yangjiang, Jiangmen, Zhuhai, Zhanjiang, Yantai, and Foshan are presenting alongside industry leaders. Major enterprises such as CNFC Overseas Fisheries, Shenzhen Port Group, Shenzhen Liancheng Pelagic Fishery, and Shenzhen Chuanyuanshun Catering are highlighting flagship products like Spanish bluefin tuna, Shajing oysters, and artisanal handmade fish balls.

Marking its fourth consecutive year at the expo, Shenzhen Liancheng Pelagic Fishery made a splash with a massive 500-kilogram bluefin tuna. The company utilized a dramatic tuna-cutting show and tasting sessions to demonstrate its integrated strengths across offshore fishing, deep processing, cold-chain logistics, and terminal retail. Following each demonstration, visitors are invited to sample deep-sea tuna for free, learn about the industrial chain from experts, and purchase freshly cut portions.

Attendees explore and sample a wide variety of fishery products at the expo.

Zhou Yunda, vice chairman of Shenzhen Liancheng Pelagic Fishery, emphasized the company’s "prospering through the sea" philosophy. "The stable operation of our Dongguan Tuna Processing and Trading Center has bridged a critical gap in our domestic distribution network," Zhou noted. "Moving forward, we will deepen our presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and expand nationwide to bring more high-quality deep-sea delicacies to Chinese dining tables."

Since its inception in 2023, the Shenzhen Fisheries Expo has become a benchmark international event for the Greater Bay Area. Recognized as an Outstanding Exhibition Project for 2024 and 2025, and included in the 2026 "Guangdong Trades Nationally" program, the expo serves as a vital platform for Shenzhen’s efforts to become a global ocean center and a modern creative fisheries hub.
