Chaohesuan NB, formerly known as Freshippo NB, was rebranded in 2025 as a hard-discount supermarket chain focused on community and family consumption. The brand name emphasizes affordability and neighborhood-based services, with “NB” standing for “Neighbor Business.”
Leveraging Freshippo’s supply chain network, the retailer adopts a curated product strategy featuring around 1,500 high-frequency consumer goods across fresh produce, ready-to-eat food, ready-to-cook meals and frozen products. Freshippo-branded products account for nearly 60% of its merchandise.
