Forecasters warn that maximum temperatures are expected to climb to 35°C or higher as an atmospheric anticyclone brings intense heat to southeastern China.
The alert is projected to remain in effect for approximately five days, with scorching conditions expected to persist throughout much of the week.
Authorities are advising residents to take proactive measures against heatstroke, maintain proper hydration, and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure during peak sunlight hours.
