Ferris wheel at OH Bay gets 2026 World Cup theme makeover

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is now underway. To mark the quadrennial celebration for football fans, the Bay Glory Ferris wheel at OH Bay in Qianhai has recently been dressed in a World Cup-themed design.

At the same time, the FIFA STORE — the official pop-up shop for the FIFA World Cup 2026 — has made a debut, inviting fans from around the world to join the celebration.

The interior of the Ferris wheel's cabins are now full of World Cup elements. 

The 128-meter-high Ferris wheel’s 28 cabins have been transformed into a moving exhibition of football culture. In addition to a dazzling cabin themed around the FIFA World Cup trophy, several popular national team color schemes and symbols are also featured, including the yellow of Brazil’s samba squad, the blue of Argentina’s Pampas Eagles, and the classic red-and-white checks of the Croatia team, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the glory of their favorite teams and cheer for the World Cup.
