Korean culture and tourism festival to open in Shenzhen tomorrow

A six-day showcase of South Korean culture and tourism will take place along the Festival Avenue at One Avenue in Futian District from tomorrow through Sunday.

Organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, the 2026 "Hello World" Korea-China Cultural Tourism Exchange Festival will offer visitors an immersive experience to explore the vibrant culture, traditions and contemporary lifestyles of South Korea.

Event-goers can also take part in a stamp-collection challenge. Those who complete the challenge will be eligible to receive special gifts.

Highlight 1: APEC Zone

As the host city of last year's APEC meetings, Gyeongju will be featured in a dedicated booth showcasing its history, culture and tourism attractions. Visitors can also create their own Gyeongju-inspired perfume through a DIY fragrance workshop.

Highlight 2: K-Tour Zone

For those planning a trip to South Korea, the K-Tour Zone will provide information on destinations, visas, flight routes, airfare promotions and travel packages, along with little gifts for visitors. Those who successfully collect stamps at the booths of seven South Korean airports can unlock additional surprises.   

Highlight 3: K-Beauty Zone

Discover the styles and colors that suit you best through a personal color analysis, and experience the charm of Korean beauty trends and products at a pop-up space of Amorepacific, South Korea's leading beauty and skincare company behind brands such as Sulwhasoo, Laneige, Innisfree and Etude House. 

Highlight 4: K-Food Zone

Sample a variety of Korean snacks and dishes featured in popular Korean dramas at this zone dedicated to promoting Korean food culture. 

Highlight 5: K-Pop Zone

The K-Pop Zone will feature interactive installations recreating Korean variety show classrooms, awards ceremonies and fan signing events, allowing participants to experience a day in the life of a K-pop idol.

After participating in activities and collecting stamps throughout the event, don't forget to head to the HI-KR redemption area to claim gifts prepared exclusively for the event.

The fun doesn't just stop here. A dedicated stage will host a lineup of K-pop dance activities throughout the festival. Whether you join in or cheer from the crowd, get ready to feel the beat, catch the energy, and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of K-pop.
