ChinaEU and Shenzhen Huitong Global International Services Co., Ltd., operator of the Go Global Service Center of Nanshan District, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Global Service Center – EU & Belgium Hub in Brussels, connecting one of China’s leading technology districts directly to European markets.
The hub is designed as a working gateway in both directions: a landing point in Europe for Nanshan-based companies, and a single entry channel into Shenzhen for European firms seeking industrial and innovation partners.

The two organizations are framing the partnership around co-creation rather than traditional trade promotion — a model in which European and Chinese companies jointly design products, develop technologies, run pilots and bring solutions to both markets, instead of simply buying and selling across borders.
Nanshan District is among China’s most concentrated centers for artificial intelligence, telecommunications, advanced manufacturing and biotechnology. Under the agreement, ChinaEU will support Nanshan companies entering Europe through market-access and regulatory guidance, business matchmaking, institutional outreach and investment promotion. Go Global will support European companies in Shenzhen through local partner identification, market-entry assistance, policy guidance and integration into Shenzhen’s supply chains.
“Nanshan is one of the most dynamic innovation districts in China. With this partnership we want to build a practical bridge between Shenzhen and Europe — helping companies on both sides move beyond traditional cooperation toward real co-creation in AI, digital technologies and advanced manufacturing,” said Luigi Gambardella, president of ChinaEU.
“Europe is a strategic destination for Nanshan’s technology enterprises to expand globally, while also representing an important source of leading innovation partners for the Chinese market. The inauguration of the EU and Brussels Hub marks a significant milestone, establishing Nanshan’s permanent presence in Europe and strengthening the foundations for bilateral exchange, innovation collaboration, and mutually beneficial partnerships,” according to Nanshan District.
Beyond the hub, the partnership will support business delegations, missions, investment events and B2B matchmaking in both Europe and Shenzhen. Selected projects may be developed under a future ChinaEU-Nanshan Co-Creation Programme.
ChinaEU is a Brussels-based international association promoting cooperation between Europe and China in digital technologies, innovation, industry, trade and investment. Through its network of policymakers, companies, research institutions and entrepreneurs, it facilitates practical collaboration between the two regions.
The Go Global Service Center is a comprehensive international service platform established by Nanshan District. Leveraging its strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region and extensive global networks, the center has pioneered a standardized “Five-Service Framework” spanning business, legal, tax, financial, and administrative services. It provides all-around, one-stop services and support for Chinese companies expanding overseas and international enterprises seeking opportunities in China.
