Aden Hotel Shenzhen Nanshan celebrates one-year anniversary

Aden Hotel Shenzhen Nanshan marked its first anniversary and the grand opening of the Aden Garden by hosting a celebratory event that brought together leaders and partners to honor the hotel’s achievements and its evolving role in Shekou’s coastal hospitality scene.

Nestled at the foot of the Nanshan Mountain and overlooking the South China Sea, the hotel has honored the century-old legacy of its parent company, China Merchants Group, since its grand reopening.

From refining quality to earning guest trust and industry recognition, the hotel has steadily established itself as a benchmark project within the China Merchants Shekou portfolio.

The Aden Garden is designed as a blend of nature and culture, adding a poetic touch to the hospitality landscape of the Shekou area.

The Aden Garden integrates mountain and sea elements, Lingnan-style landscapes, and the maritime heritage of China Merchants, according to Wu Xiaoqian, general manager of Aden Hotel Shenzhen Nanshan. 

Every corner of the garden is crafted to offer a quiet retreat from the city’s hustle, while also serving as a window into the brand’s culture and service excellence. The aim is to offer guests an immersive experience where “opening the door reveals mountains and sea, and stepping into the garden brings serenity,” she said.

Located in the scenic Shekou area, Aden Hotel Shenzhen Nanshan integrates mountain-and-sea hospitality, business meetings, and global cuisine.

The hotel, which was formerly the Minghua International Convention Center and underwent a three-year transformation, features 369 guest rooms and suites, 2,400 square meters of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, and a virtual studio.

Dining options include a cloud-view all-day dining restaurant, a top-floor Beijing-Shandong cuisine restaurant, an elegant Jiangnan-style Chinese restaurant, a business lobby lounge, as well as a fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
