Authorized by the Ministry of Education, School of Future Technology, a collaborative initiative between Tianjin University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, officially announced its enrollment plan on Monday.
The school offers a full spectrum of degree programs, admitting both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Flagship majors include intelligent medicine, artificial intelligence, smart grid, and computer science. These disciplines are strategically aligned with the industrial landscape of Shenzhen and the broader Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Starting this year, the inaugural cohort of undergraduates will commence their studies in Shenzhen. Under this joint education model, students will be awarded dual degrees from both universities, receiving official diplomas and graduation certificates.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in Shenzhen-Hong Kong educational integration. Furthermore, students will benefit from robust exchange opportunities across the two campuses, facilitating a seamless academic journey from bachelor’s to doctoral levels.
