Shenzhen Metro to shorten train intervals on Lines 12 and 20 during ICIF

From: Shenzhen Daily

Shenzhen Metro will shorten train intervals on lines 20 and 12 from May 21 through May 25 in a bid to better serve passengers traveling to the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF).

Both lines provide direct access to the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, the main venue of the fair.

From May 21 to 25, peak-hour train intervals on Line 20 are being reduced to 7 minutes and 45 seconds, with adjusted schedules to ensure smoother journeys.

On Line 12, weekday intervals are being shortened to a minimum of 3 minutes, while weekend intervals will run a minimum of 5 minutes.

More than 40 Metro staff, security personnels, and volunteers are being deployed at the Guozhan Station and Guozhan North Station to assist with passenger flow management.

During the ICIF, passengers presenting an ICIF shuttle bus or subway e-voucher can enter and exit both stations free of charge.
