The company, together with the Chen Tingzuo International Foundation of Immunology Science, participated after the expo, for the first time, set aside an exhibition area for the biology and life sciences sector.
The company showcased a superantigen-based biologic agent, a core product designed to treat tumors and bone diseases by strengthening patients' immunity.
In immune responses, only an extremely small amount of superantigen is needed to activate immune cells such as T cells and NK cells at a speed 2,000 to 50,000 times faster than conventional antigens, and to induce the production of various endogenous cytokines for the treatment of immune-related diseases including cancer and AIDS.
Founded in 1988, Xiehe Biology holds proprietary superantigen patent technologies with full intellectual property rights, according to the company.
Founder Chen Juyu said: "The Art Hong Kong Expo is not only a cultural and artistic event, but also a bridge connecting technology, health and the humanities. Through our participation, we hope to help more people understand the value of immunology in enhancing human health and well-being, as well as to seek broader international cooperation."
