Inaugural global supply chain CEO forum sparks intl. logistics collaboration

More than 200 high-profile participants, including CEOs of global logistics firms, representatives of international logistics associations, and supply chain experts, gathered in Qianhai for the International Logistics Exchange and Global Supply Chain CEO Forum on May 12.

Themed “Connecting the World, Gathering Wisdom in Qianhai,” the CEO forum was a cornerstone event of the 14th GLA (Global Logistics Alliance) Global Logistics Enterprise Conference. It aimed to build an efficient bridge between government and enterprises, and encourage high-quality cross-border supply chain projects to establish a presence in Qianhai.
Participants gathered to discuss emerging trends in global logistics and embark on a tour of Qianhai’s achievements as a global supply chain hub, including the Mawan Smart Port, the Qianhai Exhibition Hall and the Shenzhen Global Service Station (e-Station).

Sun Wenfang, founder and president of the Global Logistics Alliance, praised the Qianhai’s potential. "Qianhai is a benchmark for innovative development. Its urban landscape, industrial ecosystem, and innovative vitality are consistently at the forefront of the era," Sun stated. She noted that during the forum, logistics companies from South Asia, North America, and other regions had already begun actively exploring the feasibility of expanding into Qianhai.
According to recent data, the revenue of key modern logistics enterprises in Qianhai is expected to reach approximately 230 billion yuan (US$33.88 billion) in 2025. Currently, 14 supply chain enterprises boast revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan, maintaining a leading position in both industrial scale and quality.
Executives from major global markets engaged in in-depth discussions to build consensus on the high-quality development of the logistics sector.
