Development of the train began in November 2024, followed by factory assembly, static testing and dynamic testing. The train departed the factory on April 24 and arrived in Dapeng on May 6 after rail and road transport.
Designed with a “technology green” and “neon purple” exterior inspired by Shenzhen’s high-tech identity, the train features ergonomic seating, luggage storage areas and accessible spaces for passengers with disabilities.
The train is also equipped with intelligent navigation, passenger monitoring systems and wireless charging functions. Lightweight aluminum construction and environmentally friendly materials for the train body were used to improve energy efficiency and passenger comfort.
