China 500 2026 unveiled at Shenzhen Brand Week

The China 500 2026 list, along with the 12th International Renowned Brand and the 23rd Shenzhen (GBA) Renowned Brand, was unveiled at the 10th Shenzhen Brand Week held at the Shenzhen Media Group Building on May 9.

Brand Finance, the internationally renowned brand valuation consultancy that publishes the Global Top 500 Brands list at the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, jointly released the China 500 2026 Report exclusively together with the Federation of Shenzhen Industries (FSZI). Chen Yideng, co-founder and president of Brand Finance China, presented an interpretation of the report.
This year, 108 brands from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) made the China 500 2026 list. Shenzhen had 33 brands on the list, including 18 brands recognized as Shenzhen (GBA) Renowned Brands and 10 brands recognized as International Renowned Brands.
During the event, international brand experts and heads of well-known enterprises delivered keynote speeches, jointly exploring new ways for brand development.

Xiong Meng, vice president and secretary-general of the China Federation of Industrial Economics, said that brands are the core competitiveness of industry, an important carrier of new quality productive forces, and a golden calling card of high-quality development. As China enters the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Shenzhen and the GBA, as national hubs for industrial development and brand building, continue to cultivate a large number of high-quality industrial brands that are widely recognized across China and increasingly known around the world.

Wu Li, executive vice president of the FSZI, said that as a signature event in Shenzhen’s brand-building efforts, the Shenzhen Brand Week has become a major initiative for promoting Shenzhen brands globally and showcasing the city’s image as an innovative, international metropolis.
She added that the FSZI will continue to provide services in brand cultivation, protection, communication, and talent training. Together with relevant international institutions, it will also launch brand globalization services to create an export accelerator that integrates policy support, market matchmaking, brand promotion, and technical assistance. This will offer enterprises one-stop overseas services, including international consulting, intellectual property protection, and overseas marketing.
Starting May 9, this year’s Brand Week will feature a series of online and offline events, including themed activities at district-level subvenues, visits to major firms, private brand salons, brand lectures under the Shenzhen Renowned Brand Enhancement Program, IP co-branding enterprise subvenues, and the Shenzhen Smart Manufacturing Trendy Festival.
Through a comprehensive, multi-dimensional communications matrix, the event aims to further enhance the international influence of Shenzhen brands and accelerate Shenzhen’s transformation from a leader in brand building into a global brand highland.
