Huaqiangbei has unveiled its OPC (One Person Company) services map, recently highlighting the OPC innovation results in the subdistrict.

The first of its kind, the comprehensive digital and physical guide offers full-cycle, one-stop, and low-cost entrepreneurial services, extending a formal invitation to global makers to establish their ventures in the world-renowned electronics hub. By integrating the service map with a dedicated mentorship team, Huaqiangbei aims to turn the vision of “zero-threshold entrepreneurship” into a daily reality.

The map highlights core locations such as rent-free startup stalls, affordable lightweight office spaces, application points for AI startup toolkits, and talent housing service windows. It integrates a complete chain of resources, including technology innovation platforms, policy application assistance, government services, and market scenario matching. This “entrepreneurial GPS” allows innovators to follow a clear path from concept to launch, enabling them to move in with nothing but their ideas and start their businesses immediately.

Beyond basic infrastructure, the service map connects entrepreneurs with financial resources from over 10 banks and accommodation options from more than 20 hotels and serviced apartments. It also features specialized services such as rapid prototyping, cross-border product selection, electronic market promotion, and low-altitude economy support.

With integrated hotlines, email contacts, and WeChat miniprogram portals, the map provides a seamless guide from initial registration to global expansion. To bolster this ecosystem, Huaqiangbei has already transformed 12 traditional incubators into OPC-focused spaces, creating nearly 10,000 square meters of innovative workspace.

Futian District plans to develop 100,000 square meters of industrial carriers, 1,000 standardized workstations, and 100 free display stalls along the pedestrian street. This expansion aims to realize the district’s ambitious formula: “one person + one AI agent + one workstation = one global business.” These efforts build upon the “11 Measures for OPC Entrepreneurship,” a systematic local policy framework designed to provide robust support in capital, space, technology, and talent. By hosting regular events like Maker Days and OPC Music Festivals, Huaqiangbei is cultivating an open, vibrant atmosphere where lightweight entrepreneurship is a defining feature.

Support for these new ventures is further strengthened by an upgraded mentorship program. The 200 maker mentors appointed last year have been designated as specialized OPC mentors, with a ratio of one mentor for every 10 OPCs to ensure personalized guidance and efficient resource matching.

Mentor representative Wang Laobao emphasized that entrepreneurs in Huaqiangbei are never working in isolation but are backed by a complete support ecosystem. He said the mentors are committed to accompanying young makers throughout their journey, providing direction, resource networking, and market expansion support to help projects scale from zero to one and beyond.
