New terminal in northwest Shenzhen benefits international travelers in Guangming

Travelers in Shenzhen’s Guangming District heading to the Hong Kong International Airport can now enjoy a seamless one-stop service, including checking flight information, printing boarding passes, completing check-in procedures, and purchasing cross-border bus tickets — all at the newly opened Hong Kong International Airport City Terminal in the district.

A launch ceremony was held April 28 at the Grand Mercure Shenzhen Guangming to mark the terminal’s official opening.

Located in the heart of Fenghuang Town, the terminal features a real-time flight information display system, full check-in services, and an airport lounge for guests.

Passengers taking cross-border shuttle buses from the terminal to the Hong Kong airport are also eligible for a HK$200 (US$25) departure tax refund. The service has been warmly welcomed by air travelers in both Guangming and Hong Kong.
