The Greater Bay Area International Model United Nations (GBAIMUN) 2026 Spring Conference officially opened in Nanshan on April 24.

Under the theme “Cooperation, Innovation and Reconstruction,” the conference brought together approximately 300 young representatives from educational institutions across 20 countries worldwide.

Participants engage in in-depth discussions on critical global issues.

During the sessions, participating committees engaged in in-depth simulations and deliberations on pressing global issues, including biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, the green economy, energy transition, climate change, and space sustainability — contributing to broader global sustainable development efforts.
