South China's largest outdoor coffee fest to hit Shenzhen again

Coffee lovers, mark your calendars. The Awaken Coffee Festival, billed as South China's largest outdoor coffee event, will take over One Avenue's 800-meter central avenue from April 29 to May 5. Entry is free.

At its seventh edition, this year's Awaken Coffee Festival brings together an impressive lineup: 165 brands from 43 cities across 10 countries in three continents will converge, promising a vibrant celebration of global coffee culture right in the heart of the city.

L'Arbre à Café from France is one of the 21 brands making their China or Shenzhen debut. 

Notably, 21 of the participating brands will be making their debut in China or Shenzhen. Among them are L'Arbre à Café from France, Cafēn and Calico Coffee from the U.K., MOK Coffee from Belgium, and Sloane Coffee from Romania.  

The event's exhibitors will also include 39 dining, bakery, and lifestyle brands.

Great coffee deserves the companion of great food. The coffee festival also has 39 dining, bakery, and lifestyle brands on site, offering everything from artisanal pastries and savory bites to design-forward merchandise. 

The festival is part of the 2026 Futian Coffee Life Week, which also includes several high-profile coffee events including an invitational event featuring champions of the World Coffee Blending Championship (WCBC), as well as a coffee brewing competition for Chinese baristas from around the globe. These events offer a rare chance for visitors to witness the exchange of coffee craftsmanship and culture up close in Futian.
