Futian CBD light show to pause for maintenance

Futian CBD’s iconic skyscraper light show will be temporarily suspended starting April 30 for essential equipment maintenance, according to the district’s urban law enforcement authorities. The show, which usually features a choreographed “visual feast” across 43 buildings and 1.18 million LED lights, is expected to resume Oct. 1. Launched eight years ago, the display has become a signature weekend and holiday attraction, drawing crowds with its synchronized music and vibrant light patterns.
