GBA's first Hualong One nuclear unit goes online

The first “Hualong One” nuclear power unit in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) — Unit 1 of the Taipingling project — began generating electricity and officially achieved commercial operation on Monday. The project is planned to house six Hualong One units across three phases, with construction progressing steadily as scheduled.
