Digital entertainment and internet enterprises are invited to settle in industrial bases in Bao’an as the district has launched the application process for the first batch of 2026. The deadline for the first batch is April 16.
Companies specializing in digital software and internet services can apply, with successful candidates gaining access to significant rent concessions and a premier industrial ecosystem.
The recruitment drive comes on the heels of a major expansion at Qianhai Kexing Science Park, which recently integrated three heavyweight entities: the Tencent Hongzhou Initiative Practice Base, the Guangdong Game Industry Association’s first-ever office outside of Guangzhou, and the Bao’an District Digital Entertainment Aggregation Base.

The Kexing industrial park has already served as a powerhouse of innovation, hosting over 400 tech firms with an annual output exceeding 40 billion yuan (US$5.85 billion). It has already become home to more than 50 digital entertainment companies spanning the entire value chain, from R&D and gaming operations to data analysis and technical services.
Enterprises that secure residency in Bao’an industrial parks will benefit from a comprehensive support network designed to accelerate market growth. For example, the Tencent Hongzhou Initiative Practice Base offers companies access to professional product evaluations, stability testing tools, and exclusive industry insight reports to refine their development strategies. Meanwhile, the Guangdong Game Industry Association will provide localized, hands-on guidance regarding policy applications, qualification processing, and compliance issues such as advertising standards and minor protection.
The application window is currently open to all eligible digital entertainment and internet firms. Interested parties can find the "Notice on the First Batch of Digital Entertainment Software and Internet Enterprises Entering Digital Entertainment Bases in 2026" on the official Bao’an District Government website (www.baoan.gov.cn). Alternatively, applicants may submit stamped electronic copies of their materials directly via email to bajcjdl@baoan.gov.cn by April 16.
This initiative highlights Bao’an’s ongoing commitment to fostering a world-class digital content cluster, providing the resources and platform necessary for tech firms to thrive within the competitive Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
