Drone congress and expo set for May 21-23

The 10th Drone World Congress, the 11th Shenzhen International UAV Expo and the 2026 International Low-Altitude Economy and UAS Expo are scheduled to be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District from May 21 to 23, according to a press conference Monday afternoon.

Spanning a total exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, the expo is expected to attract more than 1,200 domestic and international drone companies to showcase tens of thousands of products, including drones, eVTOL aircraft, robots, flying cars, general aviation aircraft, unmanned helicopters, unmanned airships, boats, hot-air balloons, unmanned parafoils, unmanned ground vehicles, underwater unmanned vehicles and supporting products across the low-altitude economy supply chain.

The event will feature seven themed exhibition zones, including the low-altitude safety and anti-drone technology zone (Hall 5), the eVTOL and general aviation zone (Hall 8), the civilian drone and AI robotics zone (Hall 9), and the drone competition and experience zone (Halls 3 and 7), showcasing cutting-edge industry achievements and the innovation ecosystem from multiple angles.

from more than 140 countries and regions, along with more than 150,000 professional visitors for exchanges and business talks. More than 10,000 overseas targeted professional buyers are also expected to attend. In addition, overseas branch venues will be set up in countries including South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, enabling global resource connectivity and efficient online-offline interaction.

“The 10th Drone World Congress will feature one plenary session and more than 130 parallel forums and technology and product exchange sessions. More than 10,000 industry experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from over 140 countries and regions are expected to gather for high-level dialogues and in-depth discussions on the development of the drone and low-altitude economy industries,” he said.

Yang Jincai, chairman of the Drone World Congress and president of the Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, said China’s low-altitude economy market was expected to reach 1.5 trillion yuan (US$216.75 billion) in 2025 and the market is slated to exceed 4 trillion yuan by 2030.

Shenzhen-based Drone World Congress brings together global resources to promote technology exchange, product supply-demand matching and cross-border cooperation. With the 2026 APEC meetings set to be held in Shenzhen, the congress and expo are also expected to inject new momentum into economic development in the Asia-Pacific region.
