Tiezai Hill Park

Famous for its stunning vistas, Tiezai Hill Park is affectionately called a “city leisure oxygen bar” and a “citizens’ fitness paradise.” Rising to 204 meters, the park features four white sky bridges and an aerial corridor that provide breathtaking 360-degree views. Visitors can gaze southwest toward the sea and southeast at Bao’an’s dazzling new urban skyline. The smooth stairways leading to the sky bridges create perfect photo opportunities and invite families, friends, and couples to share unforgettable moments while watching seabirds soar and tides shift below.

Close to the airport, the park features an ideal spot to watch planes flying over the sea, all set against the backdrop of an orange sunset.

Located on the southern slope of the hill, the Tiezi Hill Ancient Tombs (铁仔山古墓群) consist of more than 130 ancient tombs spanning from the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing dynasties, which have been uncovered since 1983. Notably, an Eastern Han tomb dating back to the fourth year of the Xiping reign period (175 A.D.) of the Eastern Han Dynasty yielded a collection of significant cultural relics.

Beginning in 2000, rescue excavations carried out by Shenzhen’s cultural relic and archaeological workers in Zones A and B covered an area of 2,300 square meters and uncovered a total of 224 tombs dating from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the Ming and Qing dynasties, with over 300 funerary objects unearthed.

The site was designated as a Bao’an District Cultural Relic Protection Unit in 2005, and was officially listed as part of the fifth batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units in 2008.
