Sweden-based furniture and home goods giant IKEA’s store at Maxland shopping mall in Bao’an District spans 1,455 square meters and features six scenarios, including living room, bedroom, dining area, study room, and bathroom. It stocks over 1,000 popular small-space items, including storage solutions, kitchenware, bathroom essentials, and bedding — all carefully curated to meet local customers’ needs.
Nick Fan, IKEA Shenzhen market manager, shared during a media open day that “We’re excited to bring inspirational, diverse, and sustainable omnichannel retail experiences and home furnishing solutions to Bao’an consumers and surrounding communities.”
Shoppers can recharge at the Swedish Deli, offering signature dishes like Swedish meatballs. The 60-seat dining area also sells packaged Swedish groceries.
