Dashanpi Park and its greenway

Surrounded by Maluan Mountain Country Park and built around the Dashanpi Reservoir in Pingshan District, Dashanpi Park is bestowed with rich forest resources and beautiful lake scenery.

The reservoir, with its mirror-like clear water, is surrounded by mountains and offers a very pleasant view, while the magnificent Maluan Mountain adds to the beauty of the park’s landscape.

Inside the park, the 6.8-km Dashanpi Greenway around the reservoir is one of the most pleasant trails in the city. Suitable for jogging and cycling, the track features picturesque scenery along the way, with the reservoir’s reflective water on one side and a thick forest on the other.

Dashanpi Park is not only blessed with a unique ecological environment, but also boasts a variety of architectural attractions. The Taihe Pagoda is beautifully crafted, and the Huxin Pavilion is an ideal place to enjoy the lake view. On the second floor of the pavilion awaits an impressive view of the whole Dashanpi Reservoir. Standing there, one can easily feel the power and beauty of nature.
